The Black Prince is a handsome cockapoo, who has short stubby legs, so the poodle ancestry must have been on the short side. He is quite handsome and lively. He has had a hard life, living in a kitchen tied to a table (lucky he did not hang himself). He is young, about 2 years old. Some foster people have had difficulty with him, he did not like them, but he's been a sweet little guy here. He sounds ferocious when he's in a cage though, and doesn't want to come out. He's been very nice here with us, except for occasional cantankerousness, but when adopted out he can be difficult, with biting. I can only assume that after he settles in you would see the same thing that we do, a sweet but quite independent dog that needs to call the shots and decide when to be friendly. So you can expect some difficulties before he decides he likes you.
