Percy was given up because he could not longer be cared for. He is diabetic, and gets insulin injections twice a day, but the owner's job required him to travel, and it was getting too much to ask elderly parents to care for him when the owner was away. The diabetes is well controlled on diet and insulin. He is a lhasa, but he does not seem to know it, for he is very sweet and gentle, with none of the usual "lhasitude". Nothing aggressive at all.
