Lady lost her home when her Mom succumbed to the ravages of drink, and the children did not want her. We rescued Lady from a sad situation, she was housed in a trailer without running water, heat, or ventilation, and allowed out only a little while each day to see the sunlight, in a small run. Still Lady has kept her sweet disposition, and just loves people. She nuzzled us for petting all the way home. Her hair, a beautiful red and brindle blend, is soft and silken. She gets along with all the dogs, but she still prefers to be close to a person. Just the right dog for a family we feel, so gentle and sweet, so loving, so affectionate. She's about 40 lbs and we're guessing 4 to 6 years old.
