Dayan

Terrier, Beagle mix

Size: Medium
Age: Adult
Gender: Male

We'll let this celebrity speak for himself: "My name is Moshe Dayan. In a previous life I was a feared and respected general. I lost an eye in a battle, but we won the war. I am very surprised that in this life I still have only one eye. I guess some things never change. Having one eye is not an impediment to me at all. As a matter of fact, I think it makes me look quite distinguished. All my vaccinations are up-to-date, and I don't need anything until September, 2006. All my laboratory tests are negative. I always keep all my important papers after I have visited the veterinarian. I like to play with children and adults. I prefer human beings to four-legged creatures, probably because of my past life as a famous general. Of course, I am fiercely loyal. I'd like to be part of a family, maybe yours." He seems to have said it all pretty well. He's a handsome fellow, and indeed distinguished looking. He's tan with some black trim, about 15 lbs, and perhaps four years old. He cannot be around other dogs, he wants to go to battle again, where he was in his glory. But he becomes very attached to his owner, and if he becomes part of your home you can feel very safe with this fellow guarding you. He can be noisy when he's left alone, he wants someone home with him during the day, but he isn't destructive, he just calls up his slim beagle ancestry and whoops for you to come home. Neighbors, if they are close by, might not appreciate his comments about your not being there. Dayan is still with his owner, and if you are interested we can put you in touch.
