Chip is an 8-year-old neutered male buff colored cockapoo. His history is a sad one. After 8 happy years in a home, the couple's daughter adopted a rescue Maltese, and Chip, who has some issues about territory, HIS territory, and HIS toys, and the items he likes to steal, such as socks, found it intolerable that this pipsqueak of a dog was allowed the run of the house and would play with His toys. Chip made some threats and generally implied the Maltese had to go, and guess who ended up being bounced out on his ear. Now Chip is here with us, a little baffled, lost, and forlorn, for he did not think he would be the one to get kicked out. But he's a happy fellow, has soon made friends here, and he just loves to frolic and play. He loves toys, he loves to nuzzle and be given belly rubs, he is great with older children, and with other dogs (when, of course, there isn't an issue about territory). He is getting over the shock of suddenly being homeless, and he hopes someone will come and take him home, but no little pipsqueaks of Maltese around, please.
