This is about our 10th b&w shih tzu to come in this year, it's getting hard to tell them apart. Chi Chi is about 10 or 11 years old, and virtually dumped on another rescue person with the words "We don't want him anymore." He seems very sweet and affectionate. He still has good vision, but he has to have cyclosporine in his eyes for dry eye, a frequent shih tzu problem, and that seems to have been neglected by his callous family. He's quite confused about what's happening to him and what he must have done wrong. We'll never no. He's not nippy or aggressive, and seems just to want somebody's lap to laze around in. He's about 15 lbs and neutered. We hope someone comes forward to give him the home he craves, where he won't be dumped out again. The special needs is the cyclosporine drops. He's good about letting me give him the eye drops, though, I suspect it makes his eyes feel much more comfortable.
