Bromley

Size: Medium
Age: Adult
Gender: Male

Bichons are prone to bladder stones, and Bromley was no exception. Bromley is a 9-year-old bichon who came to us because his bathroom habits were deplorable, but he had bladder stones and not much choice, since he didn't have any space in his bladder and no one would spring for his surgery. He also was very persnickety about the diet he was supposed to be on, and insisted on Mighty Dog instead, adding to his problems. He became cranky, and started biting children. We rushed him to surgery, removed the stones, and now he's recuperating nicely. Still doesn't like the food he's supposed to be on, though, but he's eating it. He is very handsome, with an eager, inquisitive face. He gets very attached, and some of the urination might have also been for spite when he was left alone. He would make a great, loving pet for someone who is home a great deal, and who won't impose children on him. He is neutered, up to date in shots, and about 20 lbs. The special need is to keep him on his diet of C/D. He quickly remembered his housetraining, too.
