Bailey One came back to us, after four years in a home. He has always seemed to be aloof and distant, aristocratic, but with minimal lhasa characteristics. The last few weeks in the home he turned cranky. Still he is a very handsome dog, and we were happy to see him back, for he was always one of our favorites. Our vets found that he had a very painful slipped disk, and with intensive treatment he became his old self. But by then the family unfortunately, sadly. did not want him back, though they still missed him and the teenage daughters loved him dearly. He's probably only for the experienced lhasa owner. He's large, a "standard" lhasa. He gets along with other dogs, but would just as soon not be around them. His aloof demeanor makes him very attractive, and I'm sure he would warm up when he's in his own home and feels loved, safe, and secure.
