Annie is a large dog for us, but her sad plight moved us to take her in. She is a handsome mix with mostly the Schipperke showing. She was good with the young children in the household, but she did not like the kids who came to visit them, and so she had to be given up because the household was very active. She was and is much loved, and was given up with great regret. She is a wonderful, sweet dog, who has fitted right in here, and she ignores a couple of terriers who resent her being here and who bark at her, for she just goes about her own business. She is 50 lbs and 11 years old. A quite likeable dog, but for a quiet household only. Though she is good with kids, your children have friends and Annie won't like them, hence it's probably best to say "no kids."
